Just 30 minutes a day

How much should you practice?

You read about some maestro or another who practices their instrument 8 hours a day and you think… “who can do this with a job, family, eating, sleeping, life in general?”… and conclude, “I’ll never get any good at this!”

Pish, and further, tush.

If you practice your ukulele just one-half hour every day by the end of a year you’ll have spent time equivalent to playing 24 hours a day for more than a week. That’s a lot of practice.

Just think how much better you’re going to be this time next year.

Heck, you’ll notice the difference in a month!

Of course if you can clear up more time you’re not required to stop at a half an hour. My point is just that with that minimal amount of time, done regularly, you can really maximize your progress.

Now go practice.
